May 2005 The Botnia Line - Åsberget Tunnel, Sweden RockDelta a/s has supplied a solution to rock-borne vibration problems at the Åsberget tunnel in Örnsköldsvik. The tunnel is part of the new Botnia Line in northern Sweden. Both RockBallast® 3515 and RockBallast® 7015 have been installed in the tunnel. August 2004 Stortinget, Wessels Plass Oslo, Norway RockDelta a/s has supplied a solution to ground-borne vibration problems for Oslo’s tramway system. The tramway runs close to the Norwegian Parliament and will create a vibration problem unless special measures are taken. The chosen solution is based on RockXolid®. The track design ensures maximum attenuation of the vibration from the track, reducing it to an insignificant level. January 2004 Pinhal Novo Station, Portugal RockDelta a/s has supplied a solution to ground-borne vibration problems at the new Pinhal Novo Station in Portugal. The station is part of the upgrade of the line between Lisbon and Setúbal. RockBallast® 3515 was chosen after studies and investigations of insertion loss and cost-effective installation by REFER (the National Portuguese Railway Organisation) and the contractor SOMAFEL. September 2003 Asker Station, Norway RockDelta a/s has supplied a solution to ground-borne vibration problems at Asker Station in Oslo, Norway. This station is part of the new four-line railway track between Skøyen and Asker. Sub-ballast mat RockBallast® 3515 was chosen as vibration isolation material after studies and investigations of insertion loss and cost-effective installation. A special drainage solution was developed using Terram's unique PW3.0 impermeable membrane with protection and drainage geotextile.
