| Noise barriers at Quedgeley Urban Village, Gloucestershire (UK) To facilitate the redevelopment of the old RAF Quedgeley air base for housing, RockDelta Green® Extensive 120 Noise barrier, was installed at Quedgeley Urban Village, Gloucestershire. A requirement of the planning approval was that a noise barrier be erected along the widened section of the A38 road to screen the new development from traffic noise. The RockDelta noise barrier system was specified by Capita Symonds and supplied by RPC Environmental, in conjunction with Gloucestershire County Coucil who will take over the ownership and responsibility for the barrier six years after the completion of the development. |
