| The Rostocker Straßenbahn (Germany) chooses RockXolid® 50 vibration isolation RockXolid® 50 vibration isolation has been installed for the underpass of the tramway under a railway bridge. The solution was chosen by performance, life time and fast installation. The tramway, Rostocker Straßenbahn is the owner and the operator of the tramway system. A railway bridge (owned by DB) crosses over Südring just south of Goetheplatz, and just before the entrance to the central station of Rostock. The tramway has to pass under the bridge with one track in each of the 2 underpasses. The solution was designed by Dr. Johannes Wolf of Dr. Herold AG. Dr. Hubert Falke of GAF mbH (Gesellschaft für Akustik und Fahrzeug-messwesen mbH) was special con-sultant for acoustic issues. |
